Webby is ready for high society in this tailored little number! While her Pretty in Pink and Blue and Yellow Stripe Sweater make her look like a little cotton-candy fuzzball, this fitted garment really shows off her sleek and leggy physique–and yeah, I’m jealous ;)!

I used Bernat Baby Coordinates yarn in Turquoise (the color name is *way* off—it’s much more of a sky blue, as you can see) to knit this in a diagonal rib for the main body. I love how there is just the faintest bit of shine in the yarn, since there is a thin strand of white spun with the blue. Since it’s a fairly thin yarn, I used two strands throughout the whole piece.

The back button piece and the front of the sweater feature seed stitch, and I found these great oversized buttons in a beautiful cream color to accent the back of the sweater. I also crocheted the edges with some Caron One Pound Yarn in off-white that I had in my scrap bin. It was just the right amount, and the perfect complement to the buttons.

I used my basic dog sweater design (I promise to post a pattern soon!), which features snaps along the underside. This makes it really easy to get this sweater on and off my dog, which is always a big consideration for me since she has really long legs, and I hate trying to stuff and pull her arms through clothes that have no additional openings. Also, since I walk my dog with the Freedom No-Pull Harness from Wiggles, Wags and Whiskers, there is a small hole on the back and in the front to accommodate leash hook-ups.

In short, this is a fully customized piece of fashion for my little doggy baby~~~ Muah, Webby~~ Love you!
